The brief

A working embroidery shop with a real production calendar needed a site that does three jobs at once: showcase finished work credibly, take quote requests with enough detail that nothing has to be re-asked over email, and accept booked deposits without bolting on a generic page builder. The old site was a brochure; the new one had to function as the front of the operation.

The build

Migrated and consolidated a commerce site with a design-consultation booking flow. Structured quote intake (garment type, quantity, file upload, deadline) routes straight to the shop via transactional email. Checkout for deposits and custom orders confirms bookings without a phone call. Asset gallery is generated at build time from a curated set so the owner can drop in new portfolio pieces without touching code. Hardened security, documented operations, mobile-first, and shipped on a stable production deploy with a custom domain.

Outcome

The shop receives qualified, structured quote requests instead of vague inbound emails, deposits clear before production starts, and the gallery doubles as a portfolio for cold outreach. Engineered to be handed off — the owner can update copy and add gallery items without me in the loop.
